Karan Boolani’s directorial debut ‘Thank You For Coming’ was screened in Mumbai on Tuesday. Several Bollywood celebrities graced the event.
Over the past few days, Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill starrer ‘Thank You For Coming’ has been creating quite a buzz. The film which revolves around sex and related subjects while addressing some important issues has grabbed significant attention. Ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, October 6, the makers of ‘Thank You For Coming’ held a grand screening of the movie in Mumbai on Tuesday. The star-studded event was attended by an array of actors and celebrities from the industry and it can be asserted that the screening looked no less than a red carpet!
Among all the invited guests, actress Sonam Kapoor too attended the screening along with her husband Anand Ahuja. The couple was seen posing for the paps as they made a stylish entry at the venue. However, what caught the attention was the couple posing with the actress’s father Anil Kapoor, and his close buddy Jackie Shroff on the red carpet.

In the video, the actress looks spectacular dressed in a black crop top matched with a matching skirt and jacket. She completed her look with a high ponytail and black heels. Anand Ahuja kept it simple with a light-coloured pantsuit teamed with a white tee. The senior most actors, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff were seen donning black outfits as they attended the screening together.
The film is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, in association with Balaji Motion Pictures. It also marks the directorial debut of Karan Boolani, Rhea Kapoor’s husband.
‘Thank You For Coming’ cast at the screening
In the meantime, the entire female cast of ‘Thank You For Coming’ attended the screening, setting some major fashion goals. From Bhumi Pednekar to Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, and Dolly Singh, all pretty ladies looked stunning as they arrived in their most glam avatars.
Other celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, Khushi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Anupam Kher, Guru Randhawa, and Malaika Arora also graced the event last evening.
