The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is currently conducting the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) examination for 2023 and as per reports, the preliminary exams saw more than 4.5 lakh candidates applying. The exam is one of the most prestigious in the state.

Through the RPSC RAS examination, a candidate can get into jobs like Tehsildar, SDM (Sub-Divisional Magistrate), Deputy Collector and many more. The exam is held annually and every year, lakhs of students apply for the same. RPSC RAS Salary And Perks

Candidates who qualify for the RPSC exam and join the state government services are offered a promising career with financial stability and growth opportunities. The pay scale of the RAS officer ranges from Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 with a grade pay of Rs. 5,400.

Under the latest pay structure, entry-level Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers now receive a monthly salary of Rs. 56,100. This base salary is complemented by various allowances, including dearness allowance, house rent allowance, travel allowance, and medical allowance, among others. The exact amount of these allowances varies based on factors such as the officer’s posting location and experience. Consequently, the total in-hand salary for RPSC RAS officers can range significantly, falling between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 1,50,000 per month, depending on their specific position and individual circumstances.

RPSC Job Profile

RPSC officers, including RAS, hold vital roles in maintaining law and order within their designated areas. Their duties encompass diverse administrative tasks such as revenue collection, infrastructure maintenance, and overseeing government scheme implementations. These officers ensure the effective operation of governmental machinery in their assigned regions.
