Thames Valley Police in England has released a computer-generated imagery (CGI) of a man they are looking to speak to. According to a report published in the Daily Star portal, the police are looking for this man in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a dog walker, in Maidenhead. This picture has caused a significant amount of buzz on social media. It is because the eyes of the man, who has been shown in the electronic picture, appear to be extraordinarily large. Social media users mocked the photo and one of the users wrote on Twitter, “Are you all looking for an alien from another planet?”
Reportedly, the alleged sexual assault incident had happened in an open meadow close to Woolley Firs and Cherry Garden. This incident happened at around 05:45 PM on August 14. Daily Star tweeted a picture of this man and wrote in the caption,”Police e-fit of ‘alien Crazy Frog’ man goes viral – ‘he won’t blend in anywhere’”.
There were other comments as well. One of the users commented that it’s biologically impossible that a human could have such large eyes. Another wrote that can the police not just sketch it like they used to? The user mentioned that he has never seen a human being that even remotely looks like this.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Peter Fitzer told the Daily Mail, “I am releasing this e-fit image in the hope that someone recognises the man depicted. If you recognise the man pictured or have any information that could help with our investigation, make a report online or call 101, quoting reference number 43230363229. Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
According to the reports, the incident occurred after the dog walker found the alleged offender, crouched in some undergrowth close to the path she was on. She turned after walking a little further and saw someone walking towards her. Police said that the victim shouted before the alleged offender grabbed her jumper and tried lifting it up. The alleged offender then went off in the opposite direction.
As of now, the accused mentioned in the computer-generated picture, has not been found yet. His name is also not known.
