Anushka Sharma joined Virat Kohli in making a humble appeal to her friends and fans. No, it has nothing to do with the recent rumours claiming that Anushka is pregnant. Instead, they are making an appeal in connection to the upcoming ICC World Cup. The couple took to their respective social media handles to request their near and dear ones to not ask them for passes to cricket matches. The World Cup 2023 is being held in India and the tickets are being sold at jaw-dropping prices.
India will be facing Australia on Sunday in Chennai, marking their first match this World Cup. Ahead of the match, Anushka and Virat made the humble but hilarious appeal. “As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets at all through the tournament. Enjoy from your home plz,” Virat wrote. Anushka reposted the message and added, “And let me just add… please don’t request me to help if your messages get unanswered. Thank you for your understanding.”
While Anushka and Virat were seen poking fun at freeloaders, they remained tight-lipped about the news of baby number 2. Last weekend, Hindustan Times reported that she was pregnant with her second baby. “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,” a source told HT.
Addressing the actress’ lack of public appearances, the source claimed, “This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.” The report also mentioned that the couple was recently spotted by the paparazzi outside a maternity clinic in Mumbai but requested that their photographs not be taken. “They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon,” the insider said.
