Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Sky Force is creating a buzz in the entertainment industry after it was announced on the occasion of the 99th birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri. The film is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani Air War of 1965. The makers of the movie have described the film as an untold story of India’s first and deadliest air strike.
Akshay made the first announcement regarding the film on October 2. The film is slated to release in theatres worldwide on October 2, 2024. This film will also mark the debut of the actor Veer Pahariya who is the maternal grandson of the former chief minister of Maharashtra, Sushil Kumar Shinde. The actor has previously reportedly dated the popular actress Sara Ali Khan while his brother Shikhar Pahariya was rumoured to be dating Janhvi Kapoor.

Veer grabbed the headlines before entering the entertainment industry after Sara Ali Khan confirmed her dating rumours with the actor. During an interview with Filmfare in the past, Sara said that Veer was the only boy in her life that has not broken her heart.
Recently, the actor’s photos also went viral. Netizens started calling him the Indian answer to the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The sibling duo–Shikhar and Veer Pahariya grabbed the eyeballs of the audience after Karan Johar hinted at Sara and Janhvi dating siblings during his interaction with the actresses in the show Koffee With Karan. The actresses didn’t reveal the identity of the siblings.
Sky Force is directed by Sandeep Kelawani and Abhishek Kapur. The film is produced by Amar Kaushik, Keval Shah and Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios. Apart from Veer Pahariya and Akshay Kumar, actress Nirmat Kaur will also be playing a prominent role in the movie.
